George established the firm in 1977 and co-founded the partnership with Bryan Sykes in 1987. As the managing partner in charge of client services and business development, he ensures that the firm is continuously meeting the needs of our clients.

George focuses on advising owner/managers in all areas of their business. He specializes in succession, retirement and estate planning.

George graduated from St. Mary's University in 1970 and obtained his CA designation in 1972. He enjoys golf, skiing, volunteering, and is committed to serving the needs of his church, St. Andrew's Presbyterian.

Bryan is involved in personal and corporate tax planning, accounting and audit services, and retirement and estate planning in a variety of different businesses. He works together with owners and managers to achieve optimal results for their businesses and organizations. An additional area of interest and specialty is the audit of not-for-profit organizations.

Bryan has been serving in public practice since obtaining his CA designation in 1976. He obtained his CFP designation in 1999 because of his interest in retirement and estate planning. He enjoys golf, traveling, cross-country skiing and serving at Cedarview Community Church in Newmarket.

Dale is closely involved with our clients in all aspects of professional accounting, business advisory and tax planning services. He advises owner-managed businesses in a broad range of financial matters including tax planning, corporate reorganizations and business valuations.

Dale obtained his CMA designation in 1985, his CA designation in 1991, his CFP designation in 1999, and became a partner in 1993. He enjoys golf, reading, travelling and spending time with his family.

Trent offers clients a broad range of services including professional accounting, business advisory, tax planning, controllership and not-for-profit accounting services. Trent works with entrepreneurs and business managers towards improving their businesses.

Trent obtained his Bachelor of Administration degree in 1990, his CA designation in 1991, and became a partner in 1995. He enjoys golf, rugby, reading and spending time with his family.

Brad is involved in planning and providing audit, review and notice to reader engagement services for a wide variety of clients. He is also involved in personal and corporate income tax preparation and is part of the firm's training and development program for students and professional staff.

Brad graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University in 1997. He obtained his CA designation in 2000, and became a partner in 2009.

David's focus and area of interest includes personal, corporate and trust income tax preparation. He is also involved in audit, review and notice to reader engagement services. David provides technical support to the firm, maintains the website, and keeps the firm abreast of new accounting principles, auditing standards, and tax legislation.

David graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 2000 and obtained his CA designation in 2003. He started with the firm in 1999.

Lily graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Toronto in 2004 and obtained her CA designation in 2006. She started with the firm in 2002.

Cathie is an accounting technician and is involved in review and notice to reader engagement services. She is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides bookkeeping services, training and support to many of our clients. She also assists in corporate and personal income tax preparation.

Cathie graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfred Laurier University in 1984 and obtained her CMA designation in 1990. She started with the firm in 2004.

Our Support Staff

The firm has four administrative staff to look after our clients' administrative requirements.

Carol is active in all aspects of client and office administration and planning. She co-ordinates the inflow and outflow of work and manages our personal income tax preparation and services. Carol also assists our senior clients with CPP applications, OAS applications, and other financial matters. Carol started with the firm in 1985.

Isabel is involved in the preparation of the clients' year-end financial statement reports and documents with the use of our Caseware/Caseview document program. She is also involved in general office document preparation, as well as file retention. Isabel started with the firm in 1989.
